Key Responsibilities of the Regional Operations Associate
Portfolio Operations Support
- Ensure operational excellence across multiple assets, with focus on occupancy, NOI, leasing performance, and resident retention.
- Support financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting.
- Contribute to capital planning, property enhancements, and reputation management.
- Assist with staffing coordination, training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of site teams.
- Help identify, mentor, and grow future leaders within the portfolio.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring processes.
- Apply market insights and data to implement operational best practices.
- Represent and promote BLT’s values, serving as a cultural ambassador across the portfolio.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment across property teams.
Qualifications of the Regional Operations Associate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of multifamily property management experience (Property Manager, General Manager, or similar role) required.
- Demonstrated success in improving asset performance and leading teams.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgeting and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-asset environment.
